1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) Commanding the respondents in general and respondent no.6 in particular not to obstructor interfere with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the land of the petitioner bearing R.S. Plot No. 1440, Khata No.284 admeasuring 2 Katha 8 Dhurs, situated at village-Dharmapura, P.S.-Daudpur, Anchal Manjhi, District-Saran.

(ii) Commanding the respondent no.6 to hear the petitioner in encroachment Case No. 05 of 2013-14 and decide the case by passing an

Patna High Court CWJC No.2870 of 2017(2) dt.03-10-2024 2/2 appropriate order in accordance with law after considering the contentions raised by the petitioner in his show-cause and after considering the materials/documents produced by the petitioner."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous, during the interregnum period, however, he be granted liberty to avail such other alternative remedies, as are otherwise available under the law, in case of any subsisting grievance. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands dismissed.
