The petitioner seeks bail in Gopalganj P.S. Case No. 257 of 2019, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is alleged in the written report that 1728 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from pick-up van in front of Nursery near Sadhu Chowk.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that seizure list does not bear signature of the petitioner. The name of petitioner has been disclosed by nearby people.

Petitioner is in custody since 13.6.2018 having clean antecedent.

Let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-2nd - cum Special Judge, Excise, Gopalganj, in connection with Gopalganj P.S. Case No. 257 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors will be the close relatives of the petitioner.
