JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA) 09-03-2022 The petitioner claims to have been working with the South Bihar Gramin Bank as Business Correspondent (B.C.) Agent. Her job was to secure business for the Bank. According to the petitioner, the B.C. Agent helps the respondent Bank by encouraging the villagers in opening their accounts in the Bank as well as enabling them to make savings

Patna High Court CWJC No.17651 of 2021(2) dt.09-03-2022 2/2 and to make deposits. However, vide e-mail communication dated 11.01.2021 (Annexure-5), the petitioner was informed that a new B.C. Agent had been inducted in her place. From the said communication, it is revealed that the Bank also felt that there were circular transactions being conducted by the petitioner. Under the circumstances, there is no ground to interfere in this writ petition. Accordingly, the same stands dismissed.

However, in case any amount which is due to the petitioner and is still being retained by the Bank, the petitioner shall be at liberty to move a representation for release of the said amount. The Bank shall consider such representation and take a decision thereon within three weeks.
