The petitioner is in custody in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 369 of 2019 corresponding to Special (POCSO) Case No. 24 of 2019 for the offenses under Sections 376 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the POCSO Act. Having regard to the material available on record, the Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, the Court below is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of nine months.
