Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376/ 354(A)/354(B)/448/452/384/385/506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant, who is already a married lady, has alleged that the petitioner induced her to go with him on several occasion to watch the movie and visit the market. During that course, he was in physical relation with the informant.

Submission is that the matter appears to be of love affairs since prior to marriage of the informant. Moreover, she is a major and the consenting party. Petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10495 of 2018 (3) dt.09-04-2018 is in custody since 26.09.2017. Investigation of the case is complete and the petitioner is ready to cooperate with the trial.

Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Khodabandpur Police Station Case No.157 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
