Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Chandi P.S. Case No. 408 of 2017, registered under Sections 30 (a), 38 and 41 of the Bihar Excise Prohibition Amendment Act, 2016.

The allegation in brief is that 12 liters country made liquor is said to have been recovered from the house of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has clean antecedent and the petitioner is in custody since 08.12.2017.

No.3431 of 2018 (2) dt.30-01-2018 2/2 Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the petitioner, Bechan Kewat, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- ( Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 6th Additional District and Sessions Judge cum- Special Judged (Excise), Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Chandi P.S.Case No. 408 of 2017.
