1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That, the instant writ petition is being filed for issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of order dated 01.02.2018 passed by Sri Atul Kumar Khare, Assistant General Manager-cumDisciplinary Authority, Purnea Region, Bank of Baroda as contained in Annexure-1 whereby and where under the punishment has been imposed " Be brought down to lower stage in the time

Patna High Court CWJC No.17662 of 2021(2) dt.21-02-2024 2/2 scale of pay by 02 stages and further, the suspension is to be revoked and period of suspension will be treated as period not spent on duty" and also the order dated 13.08.2018 passed by Sri Rajendra Kumar, General Manager-cum-Appellate Authority (Respondent No.2) as contained in Annexure-3 by which the punishment has been modified to "warning and period of suspension be treated as period not spent on duty"."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of approaching the competent labour Court having appropriate jurisdiction for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
