Verma, learned Additional Advocate General No.3, appearing on behalf of the State-respondents.

Having considered the averments made in the writ petition and materials on record and upon hearing the parties, it is hereby directed that respondent No.5, namely, Superintendent of Police, Madhubani, shall enquire into the grievances raised in the

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.823 of 2016 (8) dt.03-10-2016 2/2 writ petition, do the needful in accordance with law and get the investigation of Madhubani Town P.S. Case No.431 of 2014 completed expeditiously, preferably, within a period of six months, ensuring proper, fair and effective investigation in such a way that no innocent person is harassed.

Let a copy of this order be sent forthwith to the Superintendent of Police, Madhubani, and Officer-In-Charge, Madhubani Town Police Station.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
