The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dumaria Ghat P.S. Case No.168 of 2017 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code besides Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition Excise Act, 2016.
The accusation is of recovery of 252 liters Indian Made Foreign Liquor from the dickey of the car, which was being driven by this petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 28.12.2017.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16473 of 2018(2) dt.29-03-2018 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 4th Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, East Champaran, Motihari, in connection with Dumaria Ghat P.S.
