Notice was issued to the petitioner under Section 7 of the Bihar & Orissa Public Demand Recovery Act, 1914 for recovery of Rs. 4,37,970/-. The petitioner has not filed his objection under Section 9 of the Bihar & Orissa Public Demand Recovery Act, 1914. However, now he is permitted to file the same within ten days from today. In case, such objection is filed, the Certificate Officer shall take a decision thereon at the earliest, in any case not later than four weeks.
