Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.766 of 2016 dt.06-09-2016 2/2 of the land given to them by late Janki Saran Singh by registered Will.

From the stand of the petitioners, it appears that the dispute is with regard to inheritance of late Janki Saran Singh. Such dispute regarding inheritance cannot be settled by invocation of jurisdiction of this Court by providing police protection to life and property of the petitioners. A civil dispute cannot be adjudicated under the guise of police protection. I do not find any merit in the present application. The present application is, thus, dismissed.
