2. In view of materials brought on record today and the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondent no. 2, it appears that the remaining 10% full gratuity and commutation of pension has been allowed and sanction has been forwarded to the Accountant General under Memo No. 113 dated 30.01.2018 of the respondent no. 2.

3. Learned counsel for the Accountant General submitted that as he has been made aware of the same only today, if authority

Patna High Court CWJC No.3065 of 2017 dt.16-02-2018 2/2 has still not been issued, the same shall be done within one week from today.

4. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed off with the observation that as has been assured by learned counsel for the Accountant General, the authority in terms of the aforesaid letter of the respondent no. 2 dated 30.01.2018 be issued latest by 26th February, 2018. Thereafter, the concerned authorities shall ensure that the actual payment is made to the petitioner, along with arrears, as may be admissible, expeditiously and latest within four weeks of the receipt of the authority by them and completion of the formalities by the petitioner.

5. Learned counsel for the State agrees to such direction.

6. In view of the matter being disposed off on the basis of the stand taken by learned counsel for the State and the Accountant General, it is expected that the timeframe indicated shall be strictly adhered to and the Court will not have occasion in future to consider the matter of any alleged non-compliance of the present order.
