2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bhagwanpur Hat P.S. Case No. 306 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 103, 238 & 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. As per the prosecution case, the deceased was called by one Ritesh Prasad for working as Raj Mistri and on the next day, the dead body of the deceased was recovered.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's name has come in the self-inculpatory statement of one Binod Rai. The petitioner is in custody since 20.01.2025. He further submits that there is no material against the petitioner

Learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail by submitting that the petitioner has also made a self inculpatory statement from which it appears that he has participated in the crime along with the co-accused including one Raja Kumar, who has stabbed the victim. The post-mortem report also supports the allegation of killing the deceased.
6. Considering the gravity of the offence and the aforesaid facts, this application for regular bail is hereby dismissed.
