JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 21-03-2018 The father of the petitioner is present in court in person. The opposite party No. 2 is also present in court. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
The matter has been settled between the parties. The opposite party No. 2 has expressed her desire to reside together with all respect and dignity. The father-in-law of the petitioner has no objection to the offer made by the opposite party No. 2. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the Complaint Case/F.I.R.
Considering the fact that the matter has been settled
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5255 of 2018 (3) dt.21-03-2018 between the parties, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur in connection with Complaint Case No. 1611 of 2016., subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
