The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Imamganj P. S. Case No. 143 of 2017, registered under Section 272 of the Indian Penal Code and 30 (a) of Bihar Excise Prohibition Act, 2016.
Allegation in brief is that altogether 75 liters of Mahua liquor was recovered from Maize field and after seeing the police personnel, the petitioner escaped from there. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that police apprehended the petitioner only on the basis of disclosure of the name of the petitioner by the villagers due to village politics and personal grudge. The petitioner is in custody since 23.11.2017.

No.3956 of 2018 (2) dt.25-01-2018 2/2 Having considered the said facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, Tuntun Kumar, named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Excise Court, Gaya in connection with Imamganj P.S.Case No. 143 of 2017.
