The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Raghunathpur P.S.Case No. 45 of 2017 registered under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian penal Code. Allegation in brief is that within a year of the marriage, petitioner killed his wife due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

It is submitted that petitioner's wife committed suicide and no demand of dowry was ever made.

Whereas learned counsel for the State submits that within a year of the marriage, deceased committed suicide as she was being tortured for further demand of dowry and the petitioner is husband.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20920 of 2018(2) dt.10-04-2018 2/2 and petitioner being husband and there is specific accusation against him, so prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Arun Kumar, J) sujit/- U T
