The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 341, 323, 504, 506, 379, 498(A) read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner was

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49943 of 2022(2) dt.12-12-2022 2/3 married to the informant as per Hindu rights and custom. After marriage the informant came to her matrimonial home and the petitioner and her in-laws started assaulting her due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry as a motorcycle. They also stopped providing food to her and lastly the petitioner and the co-accused persons snatched her belongings and ousted her from the matrimonial home.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 27.05.2022.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Rohtas in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 32
