The petitioner seeks regular bail in registered for the offences punishable under section 302 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

The petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 302 and other ancillary sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, while other co-accused caught hold of the victim and the petitioner Sambhu Verma stabbed the victim as a result of which he sustained injuries and died during treatment.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59761 of 2021(5) dt.05-05-2022 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner has got clean antecedent as stated in paragraph 3 of the bail petition. Petitioner is in custody since 14.4.2021. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner is the sole assailant of the deceased.

Considering the nature of accusation and materials available on the records against the petitioner, his prayer for bail is refused.
