2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of Registrar General, Patna High Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been filed only for a direction to learned Munsif-III, Patna to hear and dispose of Eviction Suit No. 09 of 2020 filed by the petitioner expeditiously. Learned counsel further submits that the eviction suit is pending since 2020 and the tenant has stopped making payment after 2017 but the
Patna High Court C.Misc. No.760 of 2024(2) dt.29-08-2024 2/2 learned trial court is not taking any interest and for this reason the matter is stuck at the stage of settlement of issue after filing of written statement.
4. Since the petitioner has come before this Court with limited prayer for expeditious disposal of the eviction suit which is pending since 2020, I do not think there is any need to issue notice to the private respondent.
5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances, learned Munsif-III, Patna is directed to hear the matter with urgency and dispose of Eviction Suit No. 09 of 2020 within nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid direction, the present petition stands disposed of.
