JUSTICE SUNIL KUMAR PANWAR ORAL ORDER 06-05-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP for the State through video conferencing. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case dowry death of the daughter of the informant at the hands of her in-laws due to non-fulfilment of dowry demand.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60269 of 2021(2) dt.06-05-2022 2/3 It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners have falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that petitioner no.1 (Sunil Singh) is cousin father-in-law of the deceased, petitioner no.2 (Munni Devi) is cousin mother-in-law of the deceased, petitioner nos. 3 and 4 are cousin brothers of the husband of the deceased and petitioner nos.5 and 6 are cousin sisters of the husband of the deceased. He further submits that petitioners are living separately since long from the husband of the deceased which would be evident from the electricity bill which stands in the name of the petitioner no.1 (Sunil Singh) and there are separate ration cards of the petitioners and family members of the husband of the deceassed which shows that the petitioners have no concern with the daily affairs of the husband of the deceased. Petitioners have got clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioners, above named in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like
