2. The petitioners have filed the present writ petition for the following relief/s :

"(i) For issuance of an appropriate Writ/s, Order/s or a Writ in the nature of a Direction/s, particularly Writ of Mandamus, for commanding and directing the

Patna High Court CWJC No.10787 of 2026(2) dt.23-07-2026 2/2 respondents to select/appoint the petitioners on the post of Constable/Police in the light of the Advertisement published in the year 2004 by the Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment), Bihar bearing Advertisement No. 01/2004, 02/2004 and 03/2004, whereby (Three Advertisements), total 10474 posts were published for appointment of Constable/Police.

(ii) For grant of any other relief or reliefs to the petitioners, as your Lordships may deem fit and proper, in the following facts and circumstances of the case."

Learned counsel for the State has raised a preliminary objection that the petitioners have filed the present writ petition with a prayer for issuance of mandamus but for redressal of grievances representation has not been filed by them before the appropriate authority and have directly moved before this Court.

4. Under the circumstances, this Court is of the view that the writ petition is premature. Accordingly, it is dismissed. (Dr. Anshuman, J) Manshi/Ashwini U
