The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498A, 341, 323, 342 of the Indian Penal Code.
Petitioner in association of his family members used to torture the complainant of non-fulfillment of dowry demand. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that petitioner is ready to keep and maintain his wife with full dignity and honour and he has never left her. He further submits that petitioner bears no criminal antecedent as stated in para-3 of the bail application and he is languishing
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5960 of 2021(3) dt.11-08-2021 2/2 in judicial custody since 10.10.2020.
However, learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2 and State vehemently oppose the prayer for bail. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that petitioner is ready to keep and maintain his wife with full dignity and honour and he has never left her, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Bishambharpur P.S.
