2. The petitioner superannuated on 31.01.2015 from the post of Assistant in the DAV College, Siwan under J.P. University, Chapra at Saran.

3. Despite the petitioner being superannuated way back in the year 2015, he has not been accorded the payment of Group Insurance with 12.5% compound interest; the petitioner approached before this Court by filing the present writ petition.

4. Adverting to the facts narrated in the writ petition, learned Advocate for the petitioner contended that similarly circumstanced employee also approached before this Court in CWJC No. 11955 of 2022 wherein this Court vide order dated 10.05.2023 directed the Registrar of the University to consider the claim of the petitioner and ensure payment of all the retiral dues, i.e., Group Insurance with applicable rate of interest.

5. Learned Advocate for the University submits that after superannuation of the petitioner, he has been paid the entire admissible retiral benefits. However, he fairly submitted that he has received copy of the writ petition just a week ago and as such he prays for a short adjournment to seek instruction from the University.

6. Considering the submissions advanced and taking note of the grievance of the petitioner, the Court gives liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before the Registrar of the J.P. University along with the order of this Court. In case such representation is filed, the Registrar of the University shall be under obligation to consider the claim of the petitioner and ensure payment of all the admissible amount under Group Insurance along with the compound interest, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the representation of the petitioner.

7. The writ petition stands disposed off.
