2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Majhaulia P. S. Case No. 467 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 317(5), 3(5) of the B.N.S.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is a young person. The present matter relates to the recovery of a motorcycle suspected to be stolen. It is further submitted that upon noticing the police party, two persons allegedly fled away from the spot, and the petitioner was suspected to be one of them, the petitioner's alleged involvement is based solely on the disclosure made by the Mahal Chowkidar, except this disclosure and mere suspicion, there is nothing on record to establish the petitioner's involvement in the alleged occurrence.

4. Though, learned APP for the State opposes the bail prayer of the petitioner but has not satisfied this court about requirement of the petitioner for police interrogation.

Considering the aforesaid submissions and mainly the facts that the petitioner is young person bearing no criminal antecedent and the learned APP has not shown any requirement of petitioner for police interrogation, in my opinion, the petitioner deserves to the relief of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Majhaulia P. S. Case No. 467 of 2026 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
