The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 35/2021, instituted for the offences under Section 30(a)/41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. 900 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a Bolero vehicle of which the petitioner is said to be the driver.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he had no idea about the nature of consignment which had been loaded on his vehicle.

He is in custody since 13.02.2021 and does not have criminal record whatsoever.

Considering the afore-stated facts, the petitioner,

No.59253 of 2021(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/2 above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ADJ -II-cum-Special Judge, Nawada, in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 35/2021.
