JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 06-08-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.i) For issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent authorities for holding enquiry into financial embezzlement done by the respondent authorities particularly the respondent District

Patna High Court CWJC No.11233 of 2024(2) dt.06-08-2024 2/3 Fisheries Officer Rohtas, in connivance with respondent no. 8 Sanju Devi, whereby in contravention of and ignoring the guideline of the government, 5-6 schemes including large 100 tone "Fish Feed Mill" of about 6.50 crores has been sanctioned and subsidy of about 4 crores has been granted for payment in her favour without even fulfilling the basic requirement of those schemes, thereby causing financial embezzlement of public money.

ii) For further direction upon the respondent authorities that after holding enquiry liability be fixed upon the respondent authorities, who are found responsible / involved in swindling the government fund / public money as alleged and disciplinary action be taken against them for committing misconduct on their part.

iii) For further direction upon the respondent authorities to initiate proceeding under Bihar Public Demand and Recovery Act, so that loss of public money could be

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
