JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 09-04-2018 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioners and the State. Petitioners, already in custody since 26.9.2017, seek bail in Sadar PS Case No. 517 of 2017 registered under Sections 304B and 34 of the IPC.

The allegation in brief is that the informant's daughter was married two years back with son of the petitioners and it is alleged that as further demand of dowry was not fulfilled she was killed by the accused persons.

Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law and the allegation of demand is specific against the husband who is in custody, and the daughter-in-law of the petitioners committed suicide. Whereas learned Counsel for the State submits that some ante-mortem injuries were also found on person of the deceased. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected. The petitioners may renew the prayer for bail after framing of charge.
