The petitioners claim to be the Managing Committee of Kharagpur Matsyajivi Sahyog Samiti Ltd., Haweli Kharagpur and are aggrieved by the fact that the list of voters submitted by them has not been accepted and rather the list submitted by the respondent no. 7, who also claims to represent the said society has been accepted.

3. It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that 219 new persons have been made members of the said society on 05.04.2015 and 02.12.2016 and their names were required to be added in the voter list of the year 2017, but the same has not been done.

4. Learned counsel for the State Election Authority submitted that as per the guidelines issued by the State Election Authority dated 13.01.2017, for the purpose of adding or deleting any members, the Managing Committee has to take a decision in a meeting to be held after 31.01.2017 in which there should be a representative of the Block Development Officer.

5. In view of the aforesaid, when it is an admitted position that no such resolution has been taken with regard to addition of 219 new members, in terms of the guidelines dated 13.01.2017, this Court is unable to interfere in the matter.
