Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From a motorcycle, liquor was recovered and the local Chaukidar informed that the petitioner had fled away from the motorcycle.

Submission is that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent nor the said motorcycle is of the petitioner or of any family member of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46064 of 2019(2) dt.26-07-2019 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Excise Case No.1052 of 2019( arising out of Udwant Nagar Police Station Case No.217 of 2019), subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
