JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 31-01-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Through this writ application, the petitioner seeks appointment on compassionate ground as father of the petitioner died in harness on 12.03.2015 while working on the post of Clerk in R. K. C. + 2 High School, Patsa, District, Samastipur. Petitioner applied for appointment on 14.03.2016 but no decision has been communicated to him till date.

Accordingly, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Samastipur to examine the matter of the petitioner and place it for consideration by the concerned committee, if his claim is found tenable. Let all the consequential action be taken within a period of six months from the date of
