Petitioner happens to be husband of the informant's daughter. The informant's daughter committed suicide along with her two minor children and after that the present case was lodged. The marriage of the petitioner had taken place with the informant's daughter in the year 2009 and admittedly, after the marriage informant's daughter gave birth to two children. Although, it is alleged that petitioner used to torture the informant's daughter due to non fulfillment of dowry demand but taking into consideration the above stated facts as well as this aspect of the matter that police has submitted charge sheet for the offences punishable under section 498A, 306 of the Indian Penal
