JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT & ORDER Date: 23-11-2017 Both the petitioners are privately managed unaided non-minority institutions, engaged in imparting Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course. They seek direction to respondentBihar School Examination Board (in short 'the Board') to grant affiliation for Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course from the academic session 2016-17, under the Regulations of the Board.
2. It is the case of the petitioners that the institutions have been recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, under Section 15(3) of the National Council for Teacher Education Act, 1993.
3. Considering the nature of relief(s), as sought for in the present writ application, this application is disposed of with a direction to the Board to take decision on grant of affiliation to these colleges, which is said to be pending since long, within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
4. It has been stated by learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioners, that inspections of the colleges have
