JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-10-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State. This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Mehendiya P.S. Case No.39 of 2014 (Sessions Trial Nos.455 of 2014 and 150 of 2014), disclosing offences under Sections 498(A) and 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

From the order, passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Jehanabad, it appears that the trial is at

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46418 of 2015 (2) dt.13-10-2015 2/2 its advanced stage and several witnesses have been examined.

In view of the nature of accusation and the fact that the trial is at advanced stage, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of regular bail to the petitioner. Learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Jehanabad, is directed to expedite the trial. If the trial does not conclude within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order before the court below despite due co-operation by the petitioner, he shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for regular bail.

This application is rejected with the observation as above.
