JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 29-06-2021 Heard Mr. Tej Narayan Singh, learned Advocate for the appellant and learned Special P.P. for the State. The appellant has challenged the order dated 07.10.2020 passed by the learned I/C Ist Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, SC/ST Act, in A.B.P. No. 1834 of 2020 arising out of in Chandi/Bena P.S. Case No. 116/2020, whereby the prayer made on behalf of the appellant for grant of anticipatory bail for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 354, 353, 307, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 3(i)(r)(s)(w) 3, 2(v)a of the SC/ST Act and Section 27 of the Arms Act has been rejected.

APP (SJ) No.737 of 2021(2) dt.29-06-2021 2/3 It is alleged in the First Information Report that four persons from outside had come in the village to the house of one Ram Bilash Singh. As part of the duty of the informant for the purposes of tracking down the carriers of Corona Virus, It was informed by her to the authorities concerned that four outsiders have come to the village. The Medical Team perforce visited the house of said Ram Bilash Singh along with the informant for the purposes of tracking and testing such persons whether they were carriers of Corona Virus. This was not acceptable to the accused persons and after some days, the accused persons are said to have abused, insulted and also assaulted the members of the family of the informant.

Learned counsel for the appellant has submitted that this story has been cooked up only to make the case look serious.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the appellant, I am not inclined to interfere with the order which has been impugned in the present petition. The appeal is dismissed.
