The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That, the present petition is being preferred for the issuance of writ of MANDAMUS for commanding and directing the concerned authorities including the District Programme Officer (Welfare) and the District Magistrate, Gopalganj for holding fair and impartial enquiry against the selection of Sevika at Anganbari Center No. 94 and consequently

Patna High Court CWJC No.17659 of 2021(2) dt.17-02-2024 2/2 thereafter reverse the order of selection dated 25.01.2021 issued under the authority of Lady Supervisor, Sidhwalia within the District of Gopalganj on the ground of nullity and complete ignorance of settled principle of the procedures and additionally more merit of the candidate."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed of as not pressed.
