Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A) and 494/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant is first wife of the petitioner. Marriage was solemnized about sixteen years before and thereafter, the petitioner married with one Anita Devi in the year, 2014. There is allegation of torture and assault. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Harsidhi Police Station

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5971 of 2018 (2) dt.02-02-2018 2/2 Case No. 242 of 2014, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
