JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 22-12-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is non-payment of honorarium from 27.8.2009 to December 2011.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was appointed as 'Tola Sevak' and discharged responsibility as 'Tola Sevak' for the aforesaid period and as such the petitioner is entitled to his salary.

Without going into the merit of the case, the writ

Patna High Court CWJC No.9349 of 2017 (2) dt.22-12-2017 2/2 petition is disposed of with direction to the District Programme Officer (literacy), Bhagalpur to examine the claim of the petitioner and if it is found that the petitioner has actually worked as Tola Sevak during the aforesaid period, he will pass appropriate order for payment of salary for the period the petitioner has worked. Such exercise must be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
