The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Maner P.S. Case No. 46 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has given the shop on rent to one Ranjeet Kumar, but there was no rental agreement between the two and with regard to the same, he has pointed out that from the First Information Report itself, it appears that illegal activity was going on in his house and the petitioner has wrongly been made accused in this case. Moreover, the son of the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5763 of 2021(2) dt.20-01-2022 2/2 was arrested in connection with the present case and the petitioner is a senior citizen.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the present anticipatory bail application is allowed. Accordingly, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of ten weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class, Danapur, Patna, in connection with Maner P.S. Case No. 46/2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
