The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.722 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is said to have tortured O.P. No.2 physically and mentally for non-fulfillment of demand of additional dowry.

By order dated 12.01.2023, the case was referred to the Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre. Perused the Mediator's Report dated 10.04.2023. The

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49562 of 2022(3) dt.17-04-2023 2/2 Mediator has reported that the dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kaimur at Bhabhua in connection with Complaint Case No.722 of 2021, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
