The petitioner is in custody in connection with Jokihat P.S. Case No.138 of 2017, a case under Sections 363/366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of kidnapping of the minor daughter of the informant with intent to marry with her. The victim in her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. has supported the allegation of kidnapping by the petitioner and stated that the petitioner wanted to forcefully marry with her. However, on refusal, the petitioner left to the victim at Kishanganj. Submission is that the matter is of love-affairs. Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner,

No.7019 of 2018 (2) dt.07-02-2018 P2/ above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with the aforesaid case, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
