In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Bikram P.S. Case No. 71 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner has criminal history.

In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to exercise its discretion in favour of the petitioner, accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the court below and prays for regular bail, the court below, preferably on the same day, will try to dispose of the matter without being prejudiced by this order.
