The petitioner has filed the instant application for grant of regular bail in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case no. 433 of 2019 registered under sections 504, 506, 386, 387 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act. As per allegation in the FIR, the petitioner and other accused persons are stated to have demanded rangdari of Rs.1,00,000/.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegations as levelled in the FIR are false and concocted. He is in custody since 8.8.2019 and co-accused Ashutosh Kumar and Amit Kumar have been enlarged on bail
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5328 of 2021(3) dt.22-06-2021 2/2 vide orders brought on record as Annexure-2 series. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the period in custody and grant of bail to co-accused, the Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Naubatpur P.S. Case no. 433 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate II, Danapur.
