The petitioner seeks bail in Trial No. 2251/2018, arising out of Complaint Case No. C-72/2018, instituted for offence under Section(s) 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3⁄4 of D.P. Act.

Petitioner is husband of complainant.

It is alleged in the written report that complainant was married with this petitioner on 07.06.2017. After marriage, she was tortured in her Sasural by this petitioner and other family members for demand of dowry. It is further alleged that complainant was ousted from her matrimonial house on 18.12.2017.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46531 of 2019(2) dt.01-08-2019 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is still ready to keep the complainant with full dignity and honour.

Petitioner is in custody since 02.05.2019.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran, in connection with Trial No. 2251/2018, arising out of Complaint Case No. C-72/2018, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
