2. The petitioner seeks bail in Taraiya P.S. Case No. 147 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Section30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. Allegedly, 129.600 litres of illicit foreign liquor, a tempo (Reg. No. BR 31P-6074) and mobiles were recovered which was duly seized in presence of two witnesses from raiding party.

4. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is a person of clean antecedent. Nothing was recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner. The name of the petitioner has figured in confessional statement of co-

5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 3rd Exclusive Special Excise Court, Saran at Chapra in connection with Taraiya P.S. Case No. 147 of 2024 with condition that the petitioner shall cooperate with the trial of the case and make himself available as and when required by the court.

7. It is made clear that before accepting the bail bond, the learned trial court shall verify the criminal antecedent of the petitioner and if it is found that he is involved in any other case, his bond shall not be accepted. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) A.K.V.//- U T
