Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Some Nepali liquor was recovered from possession of one motorcycle on which the petitioner was also riding. From another motorcycle recovery of Nepali liquor was there. However, the person, who was riding on that motorcycle, fled away. The petitioner was on another motorcycle and nothing was recovered from possession of the petitioner. The aforesaid is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner. If the aforesaid submission is correct, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5998 of 2018 (2) dt.02-02-2018 2/2 bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with G.O. Case No. 221 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
