The learned counsel for the petitioners is directed to remove all the defects pointed out by the office within one month.

The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Karpi P.S. Case No. 23 of 2018 registered for offence punishable under sections 323, 366, 376, 468, 120 (B) /34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The present case has been lodged on the basis of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5332 of 2021(3) dt.07-01-2022 2/3 complaint petition filed by Manisha Devi, alleging therein that her marriage was solemnized with co-accused Ravi Ranjan Kumar, who was not liking the complainant. It is alleged that all the accused persons brought her in Jehanabad and thereafter, the petitioner no. 2, Bindu Devi, who is wife of petitioner no. 1, along with other accused persons brought the complainant in Bokaro and the petitioner no. 2 apprised the complainant that her native inmates have sold her for Rs.1,00,000/- (one lakh) to them and she insisted her marriage with petitioner no. 1. It is also alleged that the petitioner nos. 1 and 2 assaulted the complainant and the petitioner no. 1 had illicit relation with the complainant.

The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that it is improbable that the wife shall insist for second marriage of her husband with another lady.

Considering the above mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioners above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender, within four weeks from today, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Arwal in connection with Karpi P.S. Case No. 23 of 2018, subject to condition as laid

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioners within the stipulated time mentioned hereinabove, failing which, the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
