In this application for anticipatory bail the petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case for the offence punishable under sections 498 A, 323 and 504/34 of the I.P.C.

The petitioner being husband of the informant having a female child started assaulting and abusing the informant and ultimately ousted her from in-laws house and thereafter lodged this case. The petitioner in the bail application has admitted that he has arranged second marriage with consent of the informant as there was no male issue.

As the petitioner has himself admitted regarding second marriage though the informant is alive which itself amounts to torture and cruelty and as such the petitioner does not
