In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Mehandia P.S. Case No. 98 of 2015 registered for offences under sections 342/353/323/504/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 3(i) (x) of the SC/ST Act.

Allegation has been made that the petitioner and other accused persons armed with deadly weapons confined the Chaukidar of the mill in a room and thereafter, on their direction the rice stacked in the mill was mixed.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 17th July 2015.
