The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Lalganj P.S. case No. 58 of 2019 registered under Section 498A, 323 and other minor Sections of the IPC and u/s 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The informant alleged that she was married to Amitabh Bachchan on 12.02.2016 but her husband and other inlaws subjected her to all sorts of torture due to non fulfillment of demand of dowry. On 31.01.2019 at about 10 in the night her

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47309 of 2019(2) dt.30-07-2019 2/2 husband was taking liquor along with 3-4 unknown persons and when the informant object her husband and his friends brutally assaulted her and tried to burnt her but the informant saved her life.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioners are in-laws of the informant. The petitioners never tortured the informant. The informant could not feel well with her husband and on account of such dispute the informant lodged the case.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioners and the fact that petitioners are in-laws of the informant, the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest/ surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order are directed to be enlarged on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Lalganj P.S. case No. 58 of 2019, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
