====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-08-2025 Heard Mr. Rajkumar Rajesh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Jagdhar Prasad, learned APP for the State.
2. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Samastipur Women P.S. Case No. 03 of 2025 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Sections 126(2), 127(2), 115(2), 118(1), 85, 76, 352, 351(2) and 3(5) of the BNS.
3. At the outset, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to keep his wife (opposite party no.2) with full dignity and honour and wants to resolve their dispute amicably by way of mediation.
4. In such circumstances, learned District Court is
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51276 of 2025(2) dt.12-08-2025 2/2 directed to give opportunity to the husband and wife who are petitioner and the opposite party no.2 and take steps to reconcile their strained matrimonial relationship.
5. The petitioner is directed to appear before the learned District Court on 29.08.2025. Till then, no coercive step shall be taken against the petitioner. In case of failure, the interim protection granted to the petitioner shall lose its force.
6. Learned District Court is directed to refer the matter before the learned Mediator of the District Mediation Centre after issuing notice to the opposite party no.2.
7. Accordingly, the present bail application stands disposed of.
